My Scholarship in the Classroom

In recent years I have been very pleased to see my scholarship included in a variety of syllabi in Early African, Atlantic and Global History. I am currently working to make my monograph available in paperback format, for adoption in upper level undergraduate and graduate classes in African and African Diaspora history. An open access article I recently authored for the Oxford Research Encyclopedia of African History offers an accessible overview of many of the themes treated in my monograph. All of my articles and book chapters are available in my online repository. Particularly useful in a classroom setting is an article that discusses the inception of the Jesuit mission to Ethiopia, one of the Society of Jesus’s early missionary endeavors.
